CGP 2026 Grants

We are excited to announce the launch of the 2026 Community Grants Program – Grant Cycle, kicking off on Monday, August 11, 2025.

The Letter of interest (LOI) process is OPEN, starting on August 13 and closing on August 27, 2025.

**You will need to create a new profile, even if you have applied in the past.

2026 Grant Focus Areas and Priorities:

Grant focus areas 2025-2026: Mental & Behavioral Health, Preventive Health, Healthy Aging. Includes various related programs.
Grant eligibility: 501(c)(3) organizations in certain CA areas, health focus, $10K-$70K, one request per organization, not for events.

Application Process:

The Peninsula Health Care District (PHCD) follows a two-step grant application process.

  •  Initially, organizations must submit a Letter of Interest (LOI. This first step allows PHCD to assess alignment with its funding priorities before inviting applicants to proceed further in the process.
  •  If an organization is selected to move forward, it will receive an invitation to submit a full grant application.

Letter of Interest (LOI) Review Criteria:

Key considerations: rationale, health equity, data-driven, metrics, impact for District residents; map icons.
LOI Review Criteria: alignment, service provision, rationale, approach, impact, outcomes, and budget.

 

2026 Grant Cycle Timetable:

Letter of Interest (LOI) posted            Wednesday, August 13, 2025

Letters of Interest due                          Wednesday, August 27, 2025 by 11:59 pm

Full Grant applications due                  Monday, October 27, 2025 by 11:59 pm

Committee grant review                       Monday, November 17, 2025

Board of Directors approval                 Thursday, December 11, 2025
